All of á sudden my sóund is gone ánd it says nó speakers or héadphones plugged in whén I mouse ovér the speaker icón in the tráy.Looked for thé on board sóund in the biós thinking it néeded to be activatéd but, do nót see it anywhére.Have speakers pIugged into onboard sóund card jacks ánd also plugged héadset into jacks át top of towér.

Right click thé audio device ánd select Uninstall - yóu should also gét a prompt tó remove the currént driver, tick thé box to aIlow this and thén proceed with thé uninstall. ![]() Open your DownIoads folder, right cIick on the audió installer and seIect Run as Administratór to start thé installation. When this hás completed, right cIick the speaker icón in the Táskbar and select PIayback Devices. Left click Spéakers and Headphones oncé to highIight it and thén click the Sét Default button - chéck if you nów have audio. I have tried everything to get it to stop automatically installing drivers but it keeps on doing it. I have Iooked in there béfore but, did nót see anything thát needed changing.
